The 2025 Spring Sprout Grant Program
The City of Hagerstown Department of Community and Economic Development is currently accepting grant applications and awarding up to $750 to for-profit businesses on a rolling basis until allocated program funds have been distributed into the City Center Mixed-Use Zone.
This area also includes the Main Street Hagerstown area.
The grants will be used by for-profit businesses in the CC-MU and Main Street Hagerstown area to increase business efficiency and give businesses a competitive advantage. Examples of eligible uses are to purchase new computer software or hardware, new office machines or training to learn new software or marketing strategies. The maximum amount of any one grant is $750, and applications must be submitted before or on May 23, 2025. Program is subject to funding availability. Grants will be awarded up to the funds available.
Steps to Apply:
- Fill out the following application and vendor forms for the grant: Spring Sprout Grant Application
- Print a copy of your company’s Business Status from Maryland Business Express.
- Submit the application before or on May 23, 2025. If approved, the applicant shall purchase the product or services.
- Submit your receipt before June 6, 2025.
- The City will then disburse the approved amount.
