HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 4, 2024) – The Hagerstown Flying Boxcars will limit capacity to Meritus Park to Season Ticket Holders, Suite Owners, 10-Game Plan Packages, Silver Sluggers and Boxcar Buddies for the initial six-game homestand. The first series at Meritus Park will now be May 4-6. This a schedule change from the original opening game on May 3 and will allow the Flying Boxcars staff extra time to prepare the facility for game action.

The project funding, requested by Senators Cardin and Van Hollen and Congressman Trone, was included in the first FY24 spending package, recently passed by Congress and signed into law by the President, securing an allocation of $1,000,000.
