The foundation of HRG’s work is civil engineering, but the firm has diverse expertise in community and land use planning, site design, landscape architecture, environmental compliance, and sustainability. 

The team is currently working with Meritus Health, Radnor Property Group, Design Collective, Inc., and Morgan Keller Construction on graduate student housing for the new Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine.  The school is scheduled to open in Hagerstown in the fall of 2025.

HRG was named the Design Firm of the Year by ENR Mid-Atlantic in 2021 and has been ranked among the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by Engineering News-Record 19 years in a row.  The company has experienced significant growth over the past five years and is building capacity for further expansion through 2030, particularly in Maryland.
