Performances will take place at The Maryland Theatre on Saturday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 21 at 3:00 p.m., conducted by Elizabeth Schulze, Music Director.

Audiences of all ages will delight in an evening of holiday favorites, including Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride” and a lively sing-along led by Santa Claus. This heartwarming concert captures the magic of the holidays and offers a perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends to celebrate the spirit of the season.

This year’s program will feature acclaimed Broadway stars Scarlett Strallen and Ben Davis performing alongside the orchestra.

Scarlett Strallen is best known to Broadway and West End audiences for her celebrated portrayals of Mary Poppins, Sibella in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain, which earned her an Olivier Award nomination. A frequent soloist with orchestras around the world, she has appeared with The Boston Pops, The Cleveland Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, and at the BBC Proms with the John Wilson Orchestra.

Ben Davis has starred on Broadway in Les Misérables, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Dear Evan Hansen, and earned a Tony Honor for his performance in Baz Luhrmann’s production of La Bohème. His extensive concert career includes appearances with The Boston Pops, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and The Cleveland Orchestra, as well as performances at The Hollywood Bowl and Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

Together, these dynamic guest artists and the Maryland Symphony Orchestra will bring beloved melodies and classic holiday charm to life on stage, creating an unforgettable concert experience for the entire family.
