Museum Volunteer

Join the National Road Heritage Foundation as a volunteer at our museums.  The National Road Museum, the state's only museum dedicated entirely to our nation's first highway, opens for the first time on December 14, 2024, alongside the Boonsboro Trolley Station Museum.  Volunteers will greet and track guests, facilitate admissions and gift shop transactions, and assist visitors within the exhibit halls of both museums.

The National Road Museum will also contain Boonsboro's official Visitor Center, providing resources to visitors regarding regional amenities and attractions.

The first open invitation training event is being held at the Boonsboro Free Library beginning at 12:30 PM on November 9th.  Come learn about the museums and volunteer opportunities during that presentation, or visit the museums during open hours starting December 14th to ask about volunteering.
