Position Summary (A Day in the Life)
- Screen, interview, hire, and onboard all new employees
- Assist in event planning and coordination for the plant
- Data entry in HR systems and file/documentation management
- Assist with the translation of documents, verbal discussions, information amongst employees and colleagues
- Support employee training and apprenticeship programs
- Work with Plant Manager, HR Manager and other department managers to address any employee issues or concerns
- Review staffing levels to ensure necessary labor levels are achieved on daily basis
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory concerns regarding employees
- Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies & practices
- Provide support on employee relations issues and activities, recommending courses of action
- Work to ensure the safety, welfare, wellness and health of all employees
Desired skills and experience:
- Experience in office / administrative setting
- Associates or Bachelors degree, or 2+ years of relevant work experience required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Spanish language skills are essential for this position
