Position Summary (A Day in the Life)

  • Screen, interview, hire, and onboard all new employees
  • Assist in event planning and coordination for the plant
  • Data entry in HR systems and file/documentation management
  • Assist with the translation of documents, verbal discussions, information amongst employees and colleagues
  • Support employee training and apprenticeship programs
  • Work with Plant Manager, HR Manager and other department managers to address any employee issues or concerns
  • Review staffing levels to ensure necessary labor levels are achieved on daily basis
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory concerns regarding employees
  • Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies & practices
  • Provide support on employee relations issues and activities, recommending courses of action
  • Work to ensure the safety, welfare, wellness and health of all employees

Desired skills and experience:

  • Experience in office / administrative setting
  • Associates or Bachelors degree, or 2+ years of relevant work experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong Spanish language skills are essential for this position
