About Maureen: 

Maureen Kolb is the Incubator Director at Hagerstown Community College, where she supports entrepreneurs through program development, strategic planning, and community partnerships. She plays a key role in driving regional economic growth and fostering innovation. Outside of HCC, Maureen co-runs Sports Xplore, a youth sports camp she operates with her wife, promoting active play and confidence in kids ages 5–12. Her previous roles include leadership positions in admissions and program management. She holds a BA in Communication Studies and an MBA from Wilkes University.

About Rebecca: 

Rebecca Powers is the Business, Certification, and Licensure Program Manager at Hagerstown Community College, where she partners with employers to develop customized training that helps businesses build stronger teams, improve performance, and achieve sustainable growth. She is passionate about supporting the local workforce and economy through practical, high-impact learning solutions. Outside of her role, she enjoys teaching English as a Second Language and connecting with students from diverse backgrounds. In her free time, she and her husband can be found cheering on their three boys at baseball fields and ice rinks.
