Several times throughout the year, we select a Chamber member to speak about their organization during the mixer. We also feature work from artists affiliated with the Washington County Arts Council around our F&M Trust Training Room. Refreshments are also provided monthly! Keep reading to discover what this month's mixer will have in store for you.
This month's featured Chamber member is MassMutual Greater Washington! Teresa Mason, Financial Services Professional, will be sharing about MassMutual during the mixer.

Amélie Lavenant-Wink and Teresa Roberts will have their artwork displayed at the mixer this month.
Teresa Roberts, who works in a variety of primarily 2D media, has participated in exhibitions throughout the U.S. and received awards and scholarships for her artwork. Her work has always been a response to and/or interpretation of the objective, subjective and intellectual experiences of her life. Styles employed vary relative to the subject/topic being addressed. Dr. Roberts taught visual arts in the Maryland public secondary schools for 25 years and established the Visual Arts Department at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland. During her educational career she also taught studio art, art appreciation, and art education courses at Allegany College, Frostburg State University, Hagerstown Community College, The Ohio State University and the Wexner Center for the Arts. She currently lives and creates art in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Amélie Lavenant-Wink freelanced as a ‘social’ photographer, documenting some of the ‘royalty’ of the biomedical research community at NIH during her career with the Public Health Service. Her independent photography work, which she started showing in 2018, has appeared in shows both locally and in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, and California. Her palate is varied and includes abstract, landscape, and portrait photography. Although she continues to tune in and be fascinated by beauty and symbolism in all its aspects (animal, vegetable and mineral), her focus more recently has been on B&W, particularly Street Photography, which presses her to consider more closely our human condition. Her work may be viewed on the Cultural Trail and the WCAC gallery in Hagerstown, and also currently at Gallery 50, in Chambersburg, PA, through Jan 2025.
This exhibit is the result of the shared affinity of two women for the captivating country of India.
Although they visited India decades apart, both were struck by the way the sacred permeates life there and presents itself through even the most mundane activities.
Dr. Roberts’ works were created primarily in the early 2000s in response to her journey in northern India and her explorations of the philosophies embedded in the cultures of India.
Some 20 years later, Ms. Lavenant-Wink, traveling solo in southern India, spent a month gathering and recording her interactions and impressions, returning in early March 2020.
They are pleased to share the outcome of their experiences with you.
Thank you to the 19405 Emerald Sq. Edward Jones for sponsoring this event!
