About Erin

As an A&A Member, Erin leads audit, accounting, and advisory engagements across a variety of industries, including nonprofit organizations, healthcare entities, local governments, and financial institutions. Erin excels in planning and managing client engagements, fostering strong relationships, and providing invaluable insights to her clients. She is committed to mentoring department staff, nurturing their growth, and ensuring the highest standards of client service delivery.

Erin is involved in various knowledge-sharing initiatives. She serves as an instructor for the firm's internal training programs, focusing on auditing and accounting, and is a featured presenter at SEK’s annual client seminars for nonprofits and local governments. Moreover, Erin has shared her expertise as a presenter at esteemed events like the Maryland Association of CPAs Government and Nonprofit Conference. Additionally, she contributes to SEK’s Nonprofit Task Force, Healthcare Task Force, and Financial Institutions Group, demonstrating her commitment to advancing industry knowledge and solutions. She is also an annual presenter for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Summit where she engages and enlightens businesses of all sizes on accounting, finance, and budgeting topics.

Erin is actively engaged in the Washington County nonprofit landscape, serving as Treasurer of Valley Little League and Smithsburg Elementary PTA, and board member for Leadership Washington County. She is a past Board Treasurer of United Way of Washington County and the Humane Society of Washington County, and remains actively involved in various committees that support these organizations. She is also a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Education Partnership Committee and a GLOW Mentor through the Washington County Public Schools Education Foundation.

Erin has been recognized and celebrated for her contributions to the local community. In December 2022, she was selected as the Rising Star Award winner as part of Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc.’s People’s Choice Awards for her commitment to the Washington County community through volunteerism and support of local charitable endeavors. In June 2023, Erin was presented with the Jesse L. Kagle Award for Distinguished Service by the United Way of Washington County for her community spirit and supporting the organization’s mission to go above and beyond the commitment and service to Washington County. She was also a 2022 Young Professional of the Year finalist for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Awards.

*Attend all sessions in a quarterly series to receive a certificate of completion from the Chamber. A special certificate will be provided for anyone that attends all sessions over the year. CEU credits available from HCC for each session.*
