Help honor the top men and women who dedicate their lives to the safety of Washington County’s citizens!


The Washington County community, along with Chamber Members and local elected officials, are invited to attend this breakfast event honoring our first responders.

Swift action to retrieve a critical patient's life-sustaining medical device from his residence


Firefighter/Fire Apparatus Operator Mike Reid – Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company

Initiated CPR on a two-week old infant that was not breathing


Captain Justin Ruppenthal – Community Rescue Service

Quick life-saving response to traumatic amputation of a motorcycle accident patient's leg AND life-saving response to clear water out of a 9-year-old drowning victim's airway
