Saturday, May 11 • 8:30 am–6 pm Geology Field Trip with Jeri Jones (bus trip) Meeting location provided upon registration Bus trip with geologist, Jeri Jones of Jones Geological Services of Spring Grove, Pa. Participants will visit an abandoned limestone quarry in New Paris, Pa. and venture into the beautiful Coral Caverns in Manns Choice, Pa. The group can collect minerals and fossils at the quarry. Hard hats supplied. The Coral Caverns tour lasts 30 minutes. Participants should bring fossil collecting gear—hammer, collecting bag and wrapping paper, plus their own lunch, snacks and beverages. Some walking required. Space limited, pre-registration required. Cost is $63 for members of The Institute, and $68 for the general public.
