About Laura:

With more than 20 years of Human Resources experience, Laura managers SEK’s HR department and leads the HR consulting niche for clients throughout the quad-state region. Laura’s expertise includes supporting the HR needs of small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and corporations. These services include on-going advisory support, compliance reviews, employee handbooks, recruitment, training, and other custom HR services based on the needs of the client.

Laura graduated from Shippensburg University with a degree in Human Resource Management and has earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designations. Laura sits on the HR Committee for the Allinial Global Accounting Firm Association and is a member of the local Cumberland Valley SHRM chapter. Laura is also on the steering committee for Leadership Franklin County.

In her personal time, Laura enjoys golfing with her husband and friends, snuggling with her miniature golden doodle (Murray), and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Laura has a son, Kevin, who is currently a junior at Kutztown University.

About Hannah:

Hannah provides human resources support to the SEK including recruiting, onboarding, benefit administration, strategic planning, employee relations, training, employee development, and management of policies/procedures. She also assists the firm’s clients with HR consulting services.

Hannah graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Capital Management and has earned the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation. Hannah serves as the Website Director for the Cumberland Valley SHRM Chapter. She also serves on the Penn State Mont Alto Alumni Society Board and is a Franklin County Career Tech Occupational Advisory committee member.

In her personal time, Hannah enjoys hiking with her husband Brock and two labs (Gunner & Cooper), visiting local business with friends and family, and testing out new recipes in the kitchen. She is also a Pittsburgh fan all around rooting for the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.
