Robert Fulcher is a seasoned technology executive and founder of iWAT, LLC, a consulting firm he has successfully led for over a decade. With more than 25 years of experience in software development, systems integration, and IT leadership, Robert brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to every project. His expertise spans enterprise application architecture, custom software development, and digital transformation initiatives across industries ranging from healthcare and manufacturing to financial services.
As CEO at iWAT, Robert plays a hands-on role in both the strategic and technical direction of the firm. He is responsible for managing daily operations, client engagement, IT strategy development, project planning, and the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. Under his leadership, iWAT has delivered a wide range of successful projects, including e-commerce platforms, physician office infrastructure deployments, and web-based applications tailored to client-specific business needs. His pragmatic and forward-thinking approach ensures each solution is both cost-effective and future-ready.
Before launching iWAT, Robert held pivotal IT leadership roles at a large regional health system, where he directed application development, data warehousing, and enterprise integrations. As a Department Manager, he led large-scale initiatives such as the implementation of real-time data repositories, financial reporting systems, and the replacement of commercial software with custom-built applications—efforts that resulted in substantial cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Throughout his career, Robert has remained dedicated to aligning technology with business strategy. His work consistently emphasizes usability, process improvement, and scalability, and he maintains a commitment to continuous improvement through emerging technologies and agile practices.
Robert holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Shippensburg University’s John L. Grove College of Business. He is passionate about mentoring emerging technologists and sharing his insights at industry events, where his blend of technical depth and business acumen resonates with diverse audiences.
