Kelly D’Arti

2026 Chair, American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Washington County

Kelly D’Atri is the owner of The Garden at Creep Hill in Hagerstown, Maryland, and a full-time Program Manager at Citi. Now in her fourth year with Relay For Life, Kelly is passionate about sharing hope, supporting caregivers, celebrating survivors and fighting back in the war against cancer. Her involvement with Relay For Life began after spending several years as a dedicated caregiver to a family member cancer survivor—an experience that continues to fuel her commitment to advocacy, community, and compassionate support.


Karen Wolcott

Development Manager for the American Cancer Society

Karen Wolcott is the Staff Partner for both Washington and Frederick Counties in Maryland. Starting her 4th year with the American Cancer Society, Karen is responsible for making community connections that support the mission of the American Cancer Society “to end cancer as we know it for everyone”. Karen works with volunteers, cancer patients, caregivers, survivors/thrivers, the local medical community as well as community partners and fundraisers who feel called to help us reach our goals. It all started back in 2009 when her last child went back to school full time and she needed to find a job that was flexible to her children’s school schedule. She began to work for Frederick County Public Schools, and the team of coworkers introduced her to the Relay For Life and she has been a volunteer ever since. In Feb 2023, Karen had the opportunity to apply to work for the American Cancer Society where she now runs the 2nd and 3rd largest Relay For Life events in the State of Maryland and is starting a brand new event at Fort Ritchie in Cascade, MD called Climb to End Cancer where participants will be hiking the Site C mountain logging trails and celebrating afterwards on the parade grounds in September of 2026.
